
Ryan Miyashiro
(Clinic Director / PT, DPT)
Ryan brings over a decade of expertise in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, specializing in treating a diverse range of injuries and conditions affecting various body parts. He completed his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Governors State University. Before that, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is certified in trigger point dry needling, blood flow restriction therapy, myofascial decompression (medical cupping), and work conditioning/functional capacity evaluations.
He is also trained in vestibular/concussion therapy, mechanical diagnosis and treatment (McKenzie Method), and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Ryan is also a CrossFit Level 1 trainer and is passionate about the strength and conditioning aspect of physical therapy. He is excited to be working with the Naperville community and utilizing his skills to help people achieve their rehabilitation goals and get back to doing the things they want to do.
Ryan enjoys playing hockey, exercising, cheering on Chicago sports teams, and spending time with his wife and two sons in his free time.
