Our Team

Vanessa Owusu earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. She later received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Trine University in Fort Wayne, IN, in 2021.

Vanessa enjoys building meaningful connections with her patients and providing education to help them better understand their current limitations. She empowers each patient with the knowledge, tools and confidence needed to return to their prior level of function and achieve their individual goals. She particularly enjoys treating postoperative clients and helping them navigate recovery through individualized treatment plans focused on restoring strength, mobility, function, and independence. As a former collegiate volleyball athlete, she brings a unique understanding of athletic performance, injury recovery, and the physical and mental demands of returning to sport. Her personal experience as an athlete allows her to connect with active individuals and help them work toward a safe and successful return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son and extended family. She is excited to build rapport with patients and establish lasting connections
